Overview

Kova Finance is a next-generation savings and investment platform built for young Africans. They had a solid product but were struggling to acquire users at the pace needed to hit their Series A milestones. They needed a growth partner who understood both performance marketing and brand storytelling.

The Challenge

The fintech space in Africa is crowded with well-funded competitors. Kova needed to stand out to a Gen Z and millennial audience that's skeptical of financial products and bombarded with ads. Traditional paid acquisition was expensive and yielding diminishing returns.

Our Solution

We designed a multi-channel growth campaign combining influencer partnerships with micro-creators, a viral referral program with gamified rewards, and a content strategy centered around financial literacy that positioned Kova as a trusted ally rather than just another app. We also optimized their paid media across Meta and TikTok with creative testing at scale.
